Trial opens for mother accused of killing her babies in Bordeaux

A 37-year-old woman has gone on trial in Bordeaux of France, accused of smothering her four-month-old twin daughters in December 2022. Her lawyers say she was suffering from severe postpartum depression at the time and should not be judged like a person of sound mind.
