Travel Requirement: Union Minister Inspects National Registration Card (NRC) check

Ministry of Immigration and Population has been conducting National Registration Card (NRC) check. At the check point at Ayeyawaddy Bridge (Magway) on Minbu side, Union Minister U Khin Yi inspected the NRC check on travellers. The Union Minister also explained process to get the NRC, importance of NRC and rights of NRC holders.

The Union Minister continued his NRC check inspection trip to KanPyar ကံပြား check point on the Magway-Taungdwingyi Road in Magway, Myothit- Taungdwingyi junction on the Nay Pyi Taw- KanPyar Road and TaungNyo check point in Nay Pyi Taw area.

It’s learnt that about 3 million National Registration cards have been issued so far under the Pan Khin Project.
