Transportation Sector: Opening of new roads in Yangon Region

A concrete road in Hle Ngoat Chaung Village in Hmawbi Township and the AiGyi-Yin Tike Lay Bin-Kyi Bin La Har Myauk Su Road in Taikkyi Township were commissioned into service.

These roads were constructed by the Department of Rural Road Development under the guidance of the Yangon Region Government. Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and many other officials as well as locals attended the roads opening ceremonies. The Chief Minister also made inspection of the roads. The regional government has also been making efforts for transport sector development for the smooth goods distribution process and education, health and social affairs.
