





The Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San and officials made an inspection on Yangon-Taungoo railway section upgrading process under Yangon-Mandalay railway upgrading project and installing road signs along Nay Pyi Taw- Taungoo Highway and Bago-Yangon Union Highway.
First, Deputy Prime Minister and officials inspected installing road directions and road signs along Yangon-Mandalay Highway and heard reports on installing road directions and road signs systematically to prevent road accidents at the briefing hall at milepost (167).
Then, Union Minister and party visited the management office of the Yangon-Taungoo railway section upgrading project level 1 (CP-102) and heard reports on tasks implementation and Union Minister encouraged the officials to accelerate the upgrading process in timely manner and to use qualified construction materials and presented fruit basket to the officials.
Then, the Union Minister and party inspected Ye Nwe Bridge (116-B) and level crossing No.51 on Daik U- Sittaung Road and provided food stuff to the staffs.
Then, the Deputy Prime Minister and party arrived at the briefing hall at the intersection of Yangon-Mandalay old highway and Bago city road and the Director General of Department of Highways (Bago) clarified the completion of the installation of road directions and road signs within Bago region and the Deputy Prime Minister fulfilled the requirements.
Likewise, the Union Minister and party inspected the Ywar Thar Gyi Dry Port and Director of the Myanma Railways and the officials from Resources Group Logistics Co., Ltd., KM Terminal Logistics Co., Ltd clarified the tasks implementation. Then, the Union Minister and party looked round the dry port and gave necessary instructions.
