Transportation Permit: Highway Bus Lines Were Permitted To Run Back In Mandalay

Mandalay Region Highway Vehicle Administrative Committee allowed to run the highway buses starting the 1st of June.

But the permission was approved in line with the rules and regulations issued by the Health Department.

Chairman, Mandalay Highway Vehicle Administrative Committee, Aung Kyaw Lin said

We’ve allowed highway bus lines to run back since 1st of June. In fact, the permission is for vehicle associations which could run in line with the restrictions, guidelines and laws issued by the Health Department. We do not allow the bus lines that can’t obey these instructions.

In running back the routes, one of the highway bus lines shared the preparation processes.

In-Charge, ShweMandalar Terminal, Kyaw San Myint said “In line with the instructions laid down by the government and disciplines issued by Health Department, we place hand washing basins at the gates and alarm the passengers to stay three feet apart when resting at the gate. We give 2 seats for one passenger for the routes and measure temperature before takeoff and placing hand gels on the board too.”

The highway bus lines which are going to run back to Mandalay Region need to conduct disinfectant spraying to the vehicle after every route finished, Drivers and crews also need to wear masks and need to obey the instructions when carrying passengers on the bus, according to the officials. Actions will be taken if they broke out the rules.
