Transportation Facility: Progress of Myanmar-Korea Friendship Bridge inspected

Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant, together with officials, inspected construction of Myanmar-Korea Friendship (Dala) River Crossing Bridge, connecting downtown Yangon and Dala on Thursday.

They heard reports on work progress and future plans. In response to the report, the Union Minister instructed for timely completion of the works, meeting the set standard. He also instructed for worksite safety with skillful workers, and implementation of the tasks as per priorities for successful completion of the project.

The Union Minister and party later inspected bole piling works and progress of works. Constrution of Myanmar-Korea Friendship (Dala) River Crossing Bridge commenced in May 2019, and it has now completed 56% of the whole project. It is targeted to complete the project in 2024.
