Transport Facilitation: DPM Union Minister meets Chinese delegation

Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San received a delegation led by Governor of People’s Government of Dehong Sub-provincial division of Yunnan Province, China Mr. Wei Gang at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

On the occasion, they discussed operating Ruili Airline 4 times a week for Mansi, the capital city of Dehong Province and Mandalay, operating of Myanmar National Airlines for Yangon-Mandalay-Mansi-Mandalay-Yangon flight three times per week plus extending passenger and cargo flights to potential cities, linking with railway network of Myanmar for boosting bilateral trade because of the plan to construct the China’s express railway network upto Shweli in 2027, signing MoU to facilitate cross border transports and transporting of Chinese products through Yangon port.

Deputy Minister for Transport and Communications, Departmental heads and Chinese representatives and officials also joined the meeting.
