Transgender sex workers march against extortion murders in Lima

Transgender sex workers and various feminist and sex workers support organizations march through the streets of Lima and reenact the murder of two sex workers killed over extortion quotas, a sum that a mafia takes from its victims from time to time in exchange for allegedly protecting them from other mafias.

Relatives of murdered sex workers complain about the slow progress in the police investigations. The march was held to mark the one-year anniversary of the murders.
