
The ceremony of completing training courses which were organized by the education and training department under the Ministry of Border Affairs was was held at the central training school on Friday with the attendance of Deputy Minister for Border Affairs Maj-Gen Khun Thant Zaw Htoo.
The central training school offered the peace, leadership training course No (6) for the development of border regions and national races, advanced tailoring training course No (41), clerks course No (111) and Modern Motor Sewing Machine Course No (27).
And then, the deputy minister presented the outstanding awards and certificates at the ceremony. He handed over the graduate trainees who will work at the garment factories to the Ministry of Labour and cordially greeted the trainees.
This courses aim to enhance the capabilities of the personnel who are serving under the Ministry of Border Affairs, to develop the socio-economic status of young ethnic women living in the border region and rural areas, to create the job opportunities by linking with the garment factories. To date, 2941 graduate trainees of modern Motor Sewing Machine Course have been employed in the garment factories.
