Training for the 23rd MTCPAC: Chief Minister looks into camping of the contestants

Shan State Chief Minister Dr Kyaw Tun, the State Cabinet Ministers, the secretary of the State government and departmental officials looked into camping and training of the contestants for the 23rd Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition at the Indoor stadium of Taunggyi University on Friday. 

At the training camp, the Chief Minister and party observed training of Mon traditional ethnic dance troupe, practicing of higher education level women’s dance and singing contests, Classical Song contest  aged 15 to 20 and piano playing contest. 

The Chief Minister also presented 1 million kyats contributed by the Shan State Government to an official. He then gave necessary instructions and cordially greeted the contestants. 

Likewise, The prize awarding ceremony of Shan State Chief Minister’s Cup U-16 Men’s football tournament for the respective zones of Stan State 2022 was held at the State Sports Ground in Taunggyi on Thursday evening.

The Shan State Chief Minister and party enjoyed the final match between the Hsi Hseng Township team of the Pa’ O Self-Administered Zone and the Tachileik Township Team of the Shan State (East).

At the final event, the Hsi Hseng Township team won the championship trophy. At the prize presentation ceremony, the Chief Minister and officials presented prizes to the respective winning teams.
