Traditional Indigenous games take place in Brazil

Indigenous communities gathered in Tapirama, 140km south of Brazil’s largest city Sao Paulo, Saturday to play their traditional games and celebrate Brazil’s Indigenous Conscience Month.

Over three days, Indigenous people from different ethnicity play soccer, archery, Indigenous dart, and tug of war among other activities. The event is open to people outside of Indigenous communities, who can also apply to participate in the games.The Indigenous games event last until Sunday 23rd April.
