




The prize awarding ceremony for Mon State Chief Minister’s Cup (10 Township) Traditional Chinlone Competition held in preparation for participation in the 2024 5th National Sports Festival, took place at the State Sports Hall in Mawlamyine on October 24 with presence of Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, the Chief Justice of the State High Court, State Ministers, officials, and sports enthusiasts.
Following the competition, the prize awarding ceremony commenced, during which state government ministers presented cash prizes to the winning teams from various townships. The State Minister for Security and Border Affairs presented the third prize winner team with the medals and cash prize, while the Chief Justice of the State High Court awarded the second prize winner team with the medals and cash prize.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister presented the first prize winner team of Mawlamyine Township with a trophy, cash prize, and the championship cup. He also warmly greeted and encouraged the athletes.
The Mon State Chief Minister’s Cup (10 Township) Traditional Chinlone Competition was held from October 23 to 24, with 10 teams competing in the event.
