





Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin accompanied by concerned officials met with the contestants who are under training to participate in 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (Central Level) at the Magway University and overviewed the training process on 18th October.
The training is conducted from 2nd October to 21st October. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the efforts of the contestants who are trying their best to participate in central level competition are appreciated.
The competition is conducted to uplift the morale and morality of the entire nation, to raise the prestige and integrity of the nation, to preserve the cultural heritage and to build a peaceful and modern democratic nation through fine arts.
Therefore, every contestant is urged to make concerted efforts to uplift the prestige of the region and continue to participate in safeguarding national character. It's learnt that over 230 contestants from Magway Region are going to participate in the central level competition and preparations are underway to fulfill the needs of the contestants during the competition period.
