Trade Sector: Myanmar foreign trade surges to K 24.97 billion

Myanmar’s external trade of export and import volume from April 2022 to 24th March in 2023 of the 2022-2023 financial year has reached to 24.97 billion USD through the Sea route. Myanmar is trading via the sea route with a total of 165 countries.

The most trade partners of Myanmar are China, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, American, Germany, Spain and Thailand, according to the Ministry of Commerce. Myanmar could be exported readymade clothes, rice, broken rice, corn, beans and pulses, natural rubber, sesame, fishes and prawn.
