Trade Matter: MoC Union Minister Met With The Officials And Staff Members

The meeting between the Union Minister for Commerce Dr. Pwint Hsan and the responsible officials who will serve duties at the trade posts and export/import offices was held at the meeting room of the ministry of commerce at 2 p.m. on December 27.

At the meeting, the union minister said that the trade department sends the experienced officers to serve the duties by rotating once in six months. Although this is the period of decreasing COVID-19 infection, the special intention on the health issue needs to be paid and the security condition around the trade post where the duty is to be served is also important. If there is an occurrence of unusual incidence, it’s needed to report to the superior in timely manner.

The officers and staff members require understanding the procedures to be changed as of January, 2022. The cooperation with the custom department should be carried out regarding the changes on the import license to be executed as of 1st January, 2022. The union minister also urged to reace the trade volume or plus set by the state.
