Trade and Investment : CBM Governor meets with Thai delegation

Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Daw Than Than Swe received a Thai delegation led by the Economic Attaché in Yangon, Thai Embassy officials and members of the Thai Business Association of Myanmar at the Central Bank (Yangon) on Friday.

The discussion covered trade and investment conditions, import license applications, payments and investments in Thai baht, foreign exchange rates and current FX issues. Both sides also reviewed banking cooperation needs, future matters, the market-based status of FX Trading Platform and bilateral trade using the two countries’ currencies.
