Trade Affairs: Union Minister addresses 8th Int’l Trade Basic Course

Ministry of Commerce on Saturday launched the 8th International Trade Basic Course at its office in Pabedan Township of Yangon Region.
In his speech, Union Minister U Tun Ohn highlighted aims of the course, scholarship programmes and the Ministry’s cooperation with international organizations, partner countries, relevant ministries, the UMFCCI and other associations.
The country needs more importers, exporters and traders for its economic development. This course is designed to cover trade activities and investment activities, international financial services, revenue, goods quality, copyrights, consumer protection, laws and procedures, the Union Minister added.
This 12-week course is joined by 97 trainees. On the same day, the Union Minister held a meeting with concerned officials at the Myanmar Citizens Bank and gave necessary instructions.
