Tourists have flocked to a zoo in central Japan to catch a glimpse of baby capybaras and their families enjoying a hot bath. Izu Shaboten Zoo in Shizuoka Prefecture has been rearing capybaras for more than half a century. The zoo treats the giant rodents to hot baths every year when the temperatures drop.
Baby capybaras joined adult ones in an open-air pool filled with the region's specialty citrus fruits, a scene that provided visitors with great photo opportunities. Visitors will have chances to watch capybaras bathe in the hot water through early April.
