Tourism Work Committee: Sagaing Region Tourism Work Committee Held A Meeting

The Sagaing Region tourism work committee held a meeting (8/2022)at the region government office, in the morning on September 21st with the attendances if Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, region minister for economic affairs Daw Yi Yi Than, committee members, entrepreneurs and invited guests aiming at the development of tourism industry in the region, being peaceful and happy destinations for the visitors and creating job opportunities for the local people.

First, the chief minister urged the committee members and entrepreneurs to discuss opening regarding with the requirements relating to the tourism industry. Then, he pointed out to be good look of the hotels and guest houses, cleaning environment, to be reasonable price charged for the visitors, constant supervising to the junior staff, strict scrutinizing the visitors and their citizenship scrutiny card to be synchronizing and pay special attention on the security.

Next, the region minister for economic affairs gave a remark on the regional tourism industry and the region head officer of the directorate of hotel and tourism administration clarified the status of issuing hotel and guest house license at the meeting in August, the status of tourist arrivals, tourists visits to the prominent destinations, the renew license of Hotel GBH in Kalay Township and the room expansion of HtilarWin guest house in Sagaing Township with the power point.

Then, the attendees at the meeting gave necessary suggestions regarding with the tourism industry.

Afterward, the chairman of region tourism work committee chief minister U Myat Kyaw fulfilled necessaries, coordinated with the relevant departments and gave a speech of conclusion.
