Tourism Sector: Union Minister inspects state-owned hotels in Yangon

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Thet Thet Khaing inspected state-owned hotels in Yangon. First, the Union Minister inspected Hotel G in Mayangone Township and heard reports.

In her response, the Union Minister said most of the tourists to Myanmar are from China and Thailand. Now, as Visa on Arrival is allowed for Chinese and Indian tourists arriving by international flights, more Chinese and Indian tourists will come in the future and friendship with these countries will improve.

The ministry is solving the difficulties encountered by hoteliers, the Union Minister added. The Union Minister continued her inspection trip to Inya Lake Hotel, heard reports and gave necessary instructions.
