Tourism Promotion: MOHT Union Minister inspects hotels in Nay Pyi Taw

As the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism is implementing for tourism promotion within Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung on August 7th accompanied by Deputy Minister U Phyo Zaw Soe and officials inspected the renovation and rehabilitation works of earthquake-affected hotels in Hotel Zone (1) in Dekkinathiri Township.

There, the Union Minster and party viewed around the cleaning and greening tasks along with the providing services to the visitors at the hotels while hearing the reports by the general managers and hotel staff. 

Upon the reports, the Union Minister gave necessary instructions on providing better services to the visitors align with the international standards and holding international level meetings and ceremonies at the hotels. Officials are urged to manage hotel utensils using local products and to display Myanmar Traditional handicrafts at the hotels.

The Union Minister later oversaw the greening process within the hotel compounds, preparations for installing of solar powered system and gave necessary instructions.
