





With the aims of attracting international visitors through “One Tourist One Tree” programme for promoting green tourism of the country, delegations from Familiarization Trip (FAM) Trip programme participated in growing trees at Nay Pyi Taw Hotelier Training School on Thursday with the presence of Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Thet Thet Khaing. Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said growing trees and flowering plants activity was added to this time FAM Trip programme aiming to provide support in enhancing green tourism.
She added that those delegates will be invited again in coming years to witness their trees. And, one of the representatives of FAM Trip provided cash donation to Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Hoteliers Association.
On the same day, the Union Minister met with the delegations from Japan’s Sendai city-based Grape City Company Lt., at the hall of the Ministry. The meeting was intended for widely distribution of tourism promotion videos of Myanmar to international community via website and social media.
During the meeting, they discussed matters on cooperation in technology and human resource development, boosting advertisement for Myanmar traditional cultures and food of respective tour destinations and enhancing Myanmar as one of the attractive and great places to visit at international meetings.
