Tourism Industry: Meeting on Myanmar-Russia tourism promotion

Ministry of Hotels and Tourism on Thursday afternoon held a coordination meeting to implement the Familiarization-FAM Trip plans under the Myanmar-Russia tourism promotion programme.

In this meeting at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw, Union Minister U Aung Thaw said that in the implementation of the FAM Trip plans, the ministry will not only implement the policy and rule/discipline part, but will also coordinate and support the necessary.

As for the associations, it is necessary to prepare a complete package tour and submit to the ministry as soon as possible and the Russian government, associations and tourism operators will be notified about the plans, the Union Minister added.

And, attendees reported on matters including working groups, selection of people to invite, travel routes and airline operation.
