Tourism Development: MOHT Union Minister inspects tour destinations in Bagan

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Htay Aung, together with the officials, visited Bagan in Mandalay Region on Thursday.

They inspected the preparation measures for systematic development of the tourism industry and providing better services to the visitors.

At the Bagan Information and Training Center, the Union Minister heard reports on the preparations for Virtual Reality and other services.

They later visited Nan Myint Tower, and inspected the preparations for organizing the international and regional meetings, renovation works and services to be provided to the visitors.

At Nyaung U Airport, the Union Minister met with the staff and gave instructions on providing information on tourism data, making constant checking for accuracy of QR Code, and providing better services to the tourists.

He also visited Heritage Bagan Hotel and inspected the preparation measures. The Union Minister later met with the departmental personnel and hoteliers and urged all to make cooperative efforts for development of tourism industry in Bagan.
