Tourism Development :MOHT Deputy Minister receives Chinese delegation

Deputy Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Phyo Zaw Soe received a delegation led by Executive Chairman of the Exploring Myanmar Culture & Tourism Organization, Mr. Liu Wei on Thursday.

The meeting focused on discussing the introduction of the “Myanmar Pavilion” tourism development platform on Tik Tok in China and promoting Myanmar tourist attractions and culture to Chinese citizens using the platform.

During the meeting, both sides frankly exchanged views on promoting advertisements on Myanmar tourist destinations and traditional food, collaborative works to attract Chinese tourists to Myanmar through Familiarization Trip- FAM Trip, promoting tourism sector using digital technology, invitation of Chinese investors to Myanmar, elimination of the misinformation related to Myanmar in China and construction of communication channel between China-Myanmar tourism industry.
