Tourism Cooperation: Union Minister addresses Myanmar-India meeting

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Thet Thet Khaing on Sunday addressed the Myanmar-India Tourism Cooperation meeting in Yangon.

In her address, the Union Minister stressed that cooperation between countries and organizations in the region is essential for the long-term development of tourism industry. She also highlighted the visa on arrival program for Indian tourists to Myanmar.

Also, the Union Minister called for cooperation and suggestions to attract more Indian tourist to Myanmar. And, attendees made discussions on measures to develop the Myanmar’s Hotels and Tourism sector and to attract more Indian tourists, domestic and international airlines operating conditions and cooperation between Myanmar and India for the development of tourism industry.
