Touring Yekaterinburg: Union Minister of Industry visits Museums

During the visit in Russian Federation, Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than and delegation visited geological display room at the Ural State Mining University in Yekaterinburg on 12th July.

The curators clarified early exploration and findings through successive periods, evolution of mining industries, precious ores from Ural region while promoting more awareness among student youths to get interested to learn geology.

In the afternoon, Dr. Charlie Than visited the Museum complex of military and civil equipment of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company where they observed wooden body fighter jets used in WW-II, tankers, warships and steam locomotives.

On 13th July, the Union Minister toured Stone-crafting House where the owner Alexey Antonov explained about his collection of animal fossils and various stones around the world, his stone sculptures in various sizes so also antique gold and stone paintings.
