Tour in Yunnan: Visiting Yunnan Agricultural University and Trade City

A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn who is currently in Kunming, Yunnan Province of China to attend the 7th China-South Asia Expo and the 27th China Kunming Export and Import Fair and related events, visited Yunnan Agricultural University on Friday morning.

Officials conducted the Union Minister and party around the booths of the University, the displays of regional poultry museum and agricultural products.

Furthermore, the Union Minister had a meeting with Myanmar students from Yezin Agricultural University, who are pursuing doctoral education at Yunnan Agricultural University. He provided them with stipends to support their studies.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister visited Luosiwan International Trade City, the largest wholesale market in southwestern China, which boasts over 33,000 shops. During the visit, the delegation received detailed explanations about the trade city's key features and took a tour of the marketplace.
