Tour in Taunggyi: Visiting to academic institutions and hospital

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung accompanied by ministers and related officials on Tuesday met with the faculty members of University of Technology (Taunggyi) in Aye Thar Yar Township.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister heard reports by the Rector of the University, and fulfilled the requirement. The Chief Minister and party also toured around the university to oversaw the classrooms, current construction sites of 3-storey building, football field, Ground Tank and distribution of electricity within the compound of the university.

The Chief Minister also instructed the needs and coordinated the requirement. At the Government Technical High School, the Chief Minister met with the staff, inspected the practical workshop and instructed on implementation of drainage covers along the entrance road of the school.

Then, the Chief Minister and party met with the members of Sangha and locals who are receiving treatment at the Traditional Hospital, made encouragement, provided nutritious food, toured around the hospital, donated water purification machine and provided 1 million kyats cash assistance to the officials.
