Tour in Shan State: Development works in Shan State (East) inspected

Member of the State Securtiy and Peace Commission, Union Minister for Border Affairs and Ethnic Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and officials on 6th of December arrived at  Shan State  Development Supervisory Office (Keng Tung Branch) in Shan State (East) where officials reported on the update information regarding the regional development, and salient points of the Training School for Development of Nationalities Youth from Border Areas and Vocational Training Schools.

Upon the reports, the Union Minister said it is necessary to implement the development tasks in line with the set standard during the designated fiscal year. He then provided cash assistance to the staff and inspected the concrete tank, staff housing and beautifying measures in compound.

The Union Minister and party later visited the Women Vocational Trainig School (Keng Tung) and Training School for Development of Nationalities Youth from Border Areas where he inspected the training process, domitaries, mess hall, kitchen, library and sports ground, and instructed the needs.

At the Training School for Development of Nationalities Youth from Border Areas (Lwe Mwe), the Union Minister heard reports by official and coordinated the needs. The Union Minister then met with teachers and students, stressing that the teachers need to nurture the students to become good government staff and leaders.

On 7th December, the Union Minister and party met with the Staff at the Development Supervisory office, Mong Pyak Township, provided cash assistance ajnd inspected the construction site and office compound. At Women Vocational Training School (Tachileik), the Union Minister met with staff, teachers and trainees, instructing to learn the subjects successfully till they can run their owned businesses.

Next, the Union Minister and party viewed the Tachileik District Development Supervisory office, as well as the construction of earthen road and four Box Culverts in LweTaungKham village-tract.
