Tour in Russia : Union Minister attends 15th Innoprom Trade Fair in Russia

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than led a Myanmar delegation to attend the 15th Innoprom Industrial Trade Fair held from July 7 to 10, in Yekaterinburg  Russia.

The delegation departed from Yangon on July 6 and was welcomed in Yekaterinburg by Russia’s Deputy Minister of International Economic Relations. During the visit, the delegation toured exhibition booths, attended the official opening ceremony, and joined a dinner hosted by Sverdlovsk regional authorities, where ministers from over 20 countries participated.

The delegation also visited the Seversky  steel pipe factory in Polevskoy  to study production processes. On July 10, before leaving Yekaterinburg, Union Minister Dr. Charlie Than met with officials from Tyazhpromexport (TPE) in Moscow and discussed technical cooperation and project implementation for No. 2 Steel Mill (Pangpet). The delegation returned to Yangon on July 11, where they were welcomed by officials from the Ministry of Industry.
