









SAC members U Shwe Kyein and U Yan Kyaw, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, Deputy Commander, State Ministers, Chairman of Palaung Self-Administered Zone Administration Council and State level officials met with Palaung Self-Administered Zone Administration Council members, District/Township level departmental officials, business entrepreneurs, Township elders, Palaung Ethnic literature and culture committee members and local residents at the Taung Paing Hall of Namt Sam Township on September 15.
At the meeting, SAC members explained the matters on putting effort for the development of agriculture and livestock breeding, calling for the nurturing youths and development of education and invited entrepreneurs to discuss the requirements.
Chairman of Palanung Self-Administered Zone Administration Council Tar Thein Zaw clarified the facts of Namt Sam Township, the attendee business entrepreneurs discussed the matters on the business matters and the State level departmental officials explained the relevant matters.
Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye fulfilled requirements upon the discussion. Next, the SAC members, Chief Minister and Deputy Commander provided 328.5 million Kyats of cash assistance for the construction of retaining walls for monastery, Region/Township Sub election Commission, Township development office and staff housing, gravel road and box culvert and the Chairman of Palanung Self-Administered Zone Administration Council Tar Thein Zaw accepted and then SAC member U Shwe Kyein provided cash assistance for the Palaung ethnic literature and culture committee and the committee accepted.
After discussing general matters, SAC member U Shwe Kyein gave a speech of conclusion and observed the Namt Sam Township MSMEs regional products displayed in the hall.
After paying homage to the presiding Sayadaw of Myoma Gaing Gyoke monastery and offering offertories and cash donation by the SAC members, they held meeting with Palaung ethnic literature and culture committee at the regional office of Palaung Self-Administered zone.
At 7 Am on 16th September, the SAC members and party visited Namt Sam People’s Hospital, provided nutritious foods for the patients receiving treatment at the hospital, observed the X-Ray room and dental clinic, provided cash assistance for the hospital and the medical superintendent and nurses accepted.
Consequently, they paid homage to the presiding Sayadaw Zayangyi monastery, offered offertories and cash donation, signed on the guest book and provided cash assistance for the monastic education school and the responsible persons accepted.
Then, they proceeded to Badamya Ceti Gone and the SAC members offered cash donation for the community hall constructing on the Badamya Ceti Gone. Continuously, the SAC members, Chief Minister and party visited No (1) Namt Sam Basic Education High School, provided cash assistance for the school and Township fire brigate, viewed the land plot where the Zayan pickled tea leaf industry and region General administration department office, paid homage to Namt Sam Township Mahamyatmuni pagoda and offered flower, water, candle light and cash donation, it’s learnt.
