








On 29th January, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn visited Pindaya Township to oversee the construction of infrastructure and studios for film and television production.
The construction is initiated by Forever Yay Wati Co., Ltd. At the briefing hall, the Union Minister heard reports on current construction process.
Upon reports, the Union Minister expressed his appreciation to the relevant individuals who made efforts to implement the project which will benefit local businesses through film industry.
Highlighting the assistance of the ministry for the emergence of Film City, the Union Minister elaborated the adherence to existing laws and regulation in financial management. The project will benefit the local residents and the region with job opportunities and tourism businesses.
The Union Minister also assured to provide requisite assistance for the greening of the project area. Chief Minister U Aung Aung also stressed on systematic work implementations during project period in line with rules and regulation.
After overseeing the film and television production process of Forever Yay Wati, soil maintenance and greening activities, studios, lounges and filmmaking equipment and tools, the Union Minister presented 20 sets of MRTV DTH satellite and 50 DVB T2 Set top boxes to Chairman of the Danu Self-Administered Zone Administration Body U Arkar Lin.
In the morning of 29th January, the Union Minister and Chief Minister visited Shwe Phone Pwint Pagoda in Taunggyi Township, oversaw the offering of gold foils to the whole body of pagoda and new golden umbrella hoisting process and donated cash assistance.
Subsequently, the Union Minister and Chief Minister visited Sula Muni Lawka Chantha Pagoda and donated cash.
