Tour in Nay Pyi Taw: SAC Chairman inspects the rehabilitation works

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing together with officials, made inspection on the rehabilitation measures on the damages caused by consecutive heavy rain in Nay Pyi Taw Council area.

The Prime Minister and party took a tour along Monte Khwin -Nyaung Pin Tha Road by a motorcade before proceeding to Paung Laung River Crossing Bridge (Awaiyar). Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant provided update reports on the repair works along the road.

The Prime Minister instructed to implement for better transportation access for local communities, along with the repair works. The Prime Minister and party later inspected the construction of Bailey Bridge on the Pyinmana side, and repair works at the embankment of Paung Laung Weir’s Canal.

The Prime Minister stressed the need for long term sustainability of the infrastructure with yearly maintenance works. They then proceeded to the Sin Thay Village Basic Education Branch High School and oversaw the activities of cleaning debris, instructing the officials to provide the need for reopening of the school. He also presented honorary cash to the members of Myanmar Police Force and Fire Brigade, participating in the cleaning activities. They then assessed the condition of Nyaung Pin Tha Road and instructed that the debris be cleared within a few days.

On arrival at Kyauk Chat Village Basic Education High School in Zeyathiri Township, he viewed the cleaning activities, students learning at the classrooms and provisions of stationery and exercise books. They then inspected the repair works of Piers at Sin Thay Creek crossing ThaikChaung Bridge, Thazi-Shwe Myo Power Line and Shwe Myo-Nay Pyi Taw (2) Power Line near Kin Tha Junction.

At Asone Zee Kone Village Basic Education Primary School, they encouraged the students learning at the classrooms and members of Myanmar Police Force and Fire Brigade, participating in the cleaning activities. The Prime Minister and party later inspected the progress of Bailey Bridge and the approach road of Nawin Creek Bridge (Asone).
