Tour in Myitkyina: Visiting the Community Center and Relay Station

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn visited the Community Centre in Myitkyina on 8th January. He viewed the displays of traditional cultural  utensils of local ethnic tribes, children’s books and periodicals, aesthetic and non-aesthetic literatures, as well as conducting of training courses of local community.

The Union Minister later met with the officers and staff of the departments under the Ministry and urged all to serve for the interest of the people, providing news in timely manner. On arrival at the Relay Station of Myanma Radio and Television, the Union Minister oversaw the transmission of TV and Radio programs and condition of its coverage in the state.
