Tour in Mogaung: Kachin State Chief Minister tours in Mogaung

Kachin State Chief Minister U KhetHtein Nan made inspection in Mogaung Township on 12th December. The Chief Minister inspected the Dairy Cow Farm in Kone Tan Gyi Village and Pig Breeding Farm and Oil Mill in Lay ThaKone Village. During the inspection, the Chief Minister instructed for extended implementation of the works, providing necessary assistance for the capital, animal medicines and feeds.

The Chief Minister and members later went to Ping Kyaing Diversion Weir and viewed the main canal and its arm for the repair and construction works during coming financial year. They then inspected the condition for upgrading of the irrigation canal in Pin Lone Village for sufficient supply of monsoon paddy.

In meeting with the farmers, the Chief Minister urged all to strive for ensuring the sufficiency of food in the region with the assistance by the concerned departments. During the meeting, sun flower seeds to the local farmers. The Chief Minister and party later inspected the foodstuff industry in Mogaung, winter crops plantations in Kyun Pin Tha Village and monsoon paddy harvesting in NantHlaing Village.

He also met with the local farmers and instructed for extended cultivation of oil crops. The chief minister also coordinated with the officials to meet the needs of the local farmers, and provided sunflower seeds to the farmers.
