Tour in Meiktila: Visiting the hospital and inspecting the development works

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited the Defence Services Hospital in Meiktila on Thursday and comforted the patients of military officers and Tatmadawmen.

During the visit, the Senior General asked after every individual patient, providing cash assistance and other necessities. In meeting with the hospital Commandant, the Senior General heard reports on health care services being provided by the hospital to the Tatmadawmen and local communities.

The Senior General stressed the need to provide knowledge on public health awareness to the people, and instructed to upgrade the infrastructures. The Senior General and party later inspected the repair works at Meiktila Lake embankment, damaged by the powerful Mandalay earthquake, and upgrading of the district sports grounds.
