Tour in Mawlamyine: Visiting the pagoda and night market

Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited Kyaikthanlan Pagoda in Mawlamyine of Mon State on Saturday.

The Acting President and party paid homage to the pagoda in a clockwise position and enjoyed the sunset view of the city. They then offered flowers, water and light to the Buddha Image and made cash donation. They also visited the Night Market along the Strand Road, and viewed the sales of traditional food stalls and other shops.

During the visit, the Acting President instructed for implementation of the recreation area along the river bank, upgrading of the road and beautifying along the strand road.
