







Deputy Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Aung Zeya visited the Mandalay University on 27th February and cordially greeted the students, who are engaging in lecture studies and practical works.
He encouraged them to take part in the country's development activities, applying their studied technologies, aiming to become good engineers who contribute to the public interest, equipped with the strength of versatility. After that, the Deputy Minister attended an awareness lecture on the use of renewable energy and Artificial Intelligence Technology.
In his speech, he urged all to promote cooperation with international research projects as well as related departments in order to be able to participate in the practical application of renewable energy technologies for sustainable development of the country.
He also stressed the effective application of the results of Artificial Intelligence (AI) research in implementing the MSME businesses, Smart Agriculture, EV, Cyber Security and Industry 4.0.
In the afternoon, the Deputy Minister arrived at University of Information Technology, and observed the conditions of developing and establishing models and web applications by the students to be used in the research projects for AI, EV, e-services and e-commerce.
In the assembly hall, the Deputy Minister met with officials and students in a friendly manner and urged them to promote cooperation with related departments in order to utilize digital innovations in national development activities.
