Tour in Homalin : Sagaing Region Chief Minister visits Homalin

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw attended a ceremony to release fingerlings into the Chindwin River in Homalin Township on Sunday. A total of 50,000 fingerlings were released, aiming to increase fish resources and support local food security.

The Chief Minister then inspected a poultry farm in Khaung Kham ခေါင်ခမ်း Village, where 700 broiler chickens are being raised with government development funds, and provided necessary assistance. He also visited the Homalin Township Sub-Election Commission Office to view preparations for the 2025 multiparty democracy general election.

Later, he observed the second voter list display in Homalin Ward and greeted local residents who came to check their names. The Chief Minister continued to the Parami Youth Library, viewed book arrangements, and donated 2 million kyats. He then visited the 100-bed Homalin People’s Hospital, met with doctors and staff, and donated 1 million kyats.
