Tour in Bago: SAC member inspects regional development works

Member of the State Administration Council PadoMahnNyeinMaung, together with Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, inspected the agriculture and livestock works in Nyaung Lay Pin District on Thursday.

On arrival at the Pyinma Lwin Village in Daik U Township, they met with the local farmers and discussed for extended cultivation of crops in addition to paddy plantations.

The agricultural inputs and crop species were provided during the meeting, They then viewed the ploughing works at 500 acres farmland and displays of farm implements.

At Katoat Ywama Village, the SAC member and party inspected the poultry and cattle farm, being operated by the State Economic Promotion Fund. He also met with the breeders and coordinated the needs.

In Kyaik Zakaw East Village, the SAC member oversaw the cattle and poultry farms, instructing to produce value added products. At the Regional Government Office, they observed the paddy harvesters, sprayers and seeders and instructed for a wide range of production as import substitution and distribution with reasonable price.

In Thanutpin Township, they met with the local farmers and provided the agricultural inputs. On arrival at Kamasae Village, they inspected the poultry farm and rice mill and instructed for local food sufficiency and extended implementation of contract farming system.

In Oboe Village-tract, they viewed the thriving mung bean plantation and coordinated the needs of farmers. At ThiriHantha Hall in Bago, the SAC member met with the departmental personnel.

After hearing the reports on regional development, the SAC member explained the future work plans and policies of the State Administration Council and instructed the needs.
