Tour in Ayeyawady Region: Opening new road, visiting schools and pagoda

In honour of the 63rd Anniversary of Peasant’s Day, a new concrete road was opened at Than Kyo Lan Village in Nga Pu Taw Township of Ayeyawaddy Region on February 26th. Member of the State Administration Council Mhan Nyein Maung and officials formally opened the newly constructed concrete road with the length of 1,050 long and 10 feet wide.

The SAC member and party later inspected the newly inaugurated road which was constructed with the Village Development Project Fund during 2024-2025 fiscal year.

Then, the SAC member and party visited the Basic Education High School (Kyauk Chaung) in Hainggyi Gyun Township, met with the teachers, school welfare committee members, parents and students who will sit for the matriculation examinations and urged to meet targeted passing rate.

Upon the reports, the SAC member and party coordinated the requirement and provided nutritious foods and cash rewards to the students.  There, the SAC member and party oversaw the learning condition of the local residents at the school hall under the sustainable education program.

The SAC member and party later proceeded to the Maha Makuta Ramthi San Taw Shin Myat Maw Tin pagoda at the Zee Chaing Village-Tract, paid homage to the pagoda, offering flowers, water and oil lamps.

Then, the SAC member heard the reports on working processes for expansion of pagoda platform and renovation works, completion tasks and conditions on decorating Myanmar traditional handcrafts at religious buildings.
