Tour in Ayeyawady Region: Census enumeration and replanting of crops

The 2024 nationwide population and housing census enumeration processes are being carried out starting from October 1st to 15th.

On October 3rd, Member of the State Administration Council Mann Nyein Maung accompanied by the concerned officials on Thursday oversaw the conducting of census enumeration processes at Ywar Thit and Myoe Ma wards in Kyan Khin Township and at No. 2 ward in Ingapu Township of Ayeyawady Region and gave necessary instructions to the officials and census takers.

Next, the SAC member and party viewed the replanting of paddy and Sunn Hemp and broadcasting of fertilizer at flood hit crop plantation in Talinekwin village of KyanKhin Township and Gyokone village of Ingapu Township. The SAC member coordinated the requirement upon the reports of the officials and provided foodstuff to the growers.

Then, the SAC member and party inspected the flood preventive measures along the embankment of Magyisu Dam in Myan Aung Township. After hearing reports by the officials, the SAC member gave necessary instructions.

After viewing around the conducting of census collection process at TarNgarSaeTaung ward in Hinthada Township, the SAC member and party attended the meeting held at Township Administration Office. During the meeting, paddy species and inputs were provided to the farmers.
