TIME chooses AI leaders as '2025 Person of the Year'

US magazine TIME has named leading figures in artificial intelligence development as its "2025 Person of the Year." A cover image of TIME with the title "The Architects of AI" was released on Thursday ahead of its publication. It is a digital painting by an American artist with the support of AI.

It features eight CEOs of high-tech firms, including OpenAI's Sam Altman and Nvidia's Jensen Huang, chatting while perching on a steel beam for the construction of skyscrapers and looking down on New York City. The magazine also touched on improved workplace productivity and convenience, as well as negative aspects, such as job losses and AI addiction.
