Three US Marines killed in Australia air crash

Three U.S. Marines have been killed and others injured after an Osprey aircraft crashed during military exercises in Australia, officials said Sunday.

At the time of the crash, a total of 23 personnel were on board. The cause of the crash is under investigation.Rescue workers toiled in fading light to evacuate survivors from the isolated crash site, five crew members had been flown to Royal Darwin Hospital in a "serious condition".

Australian Prime Minister said that Australia was fully cooperating with its U.S. allies to provide assistance following the crash.
