Thousands visit cemetery on All Saints Day in Peru

Thousands of mourners visited their deceased loved ones in cemeteries in Peru on All Saints' Day on Tuesday.

It was the first time since the coronavirus pandemic began that mourners could take part in the tradition without any restrictions.

The Virgin de Lourdes cemetery, Lima's largest cemetery for example, was full of mourners. Following the Peruvian tradition, November 1 is the day mainly dedicated to children who have passed away and the 2nd is dedicated to adults.
