Thousands protest against Mexican president

Thousands of Mexican National Anti-AMLO Front supporters staged a demonstration on Saturday against President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

The protesters marched towards the government palace encountering small groups of the president's supporters. The march came after the Mexican Chamber of Deputies earlier approved a legislative reform promoted by President that transfers the National Guard.

The legislative reform will now pass to the Senate, also controlled by the ruling party, for its final approval.Opposition groups have announced that they will appeal to the Supreme Court of Justice to challenge it.
