Thingyan in Dawei: Chief Minister participates in celebration

People in Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region also celebrated the Myanmar traditional Thingyan water festival for four days. On the final day on Sunday, Chief Minister U Myat Ko and many other officials visited the Region’s central Thingyan pavilion to participate in the Thingyan Celebration.

This Thingyan celebration at the Tanintharyi Region’s central pavilion included stage performances and charity feast. Members of the Yein tropes were also presented with cash awards. This year, the Myanmar traditional Thingyan water festival occurred from the 13th to the 16th of April.
