Tham Luang Cave Rescue Anniversary Honors Heroes

23rd June marks the 6th anniversary of the Tham Luang cave rescue operation, honored at Tham Luang-Khun Nam Nang Non National Park in Mae Sai, Chiang Rai. The ceremony included a merit-making ritual with offerings to 90 monks and tributes to key figures involved in the rescue.

A panel discussion titled "The Puzzle of Success in the Tham Luang Rescue Mission" gathered experts to reflect on the challenges and achievements during the operation.  In 2018, global attention focused on the successful rescue of 12 young footballers and their coach trapped by floodwaters. The operation, which lasted 17 days, involved an international team of divers, experts, and volunteers.
