Thailand Prime Minister Anutin vows to crackdown on scam businesses

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul told a news conference that the situation with scam centers "cannot be compromised in any way", adding that public suffering will be the "key consideration".

He stated that in the past, the government had frozen assets amounting to tens of billions of baht, revoked visas, and deported foreign offenders from the country, as well as revoked citizenship. During the news conference, Thai police also displayed some evidence, including bank cards and internet devices that they have seized in recent operations.
